It doesn't help that there's a voice inside her wondering if it would be easier if Adaine never got out of a gem. Nobody could hurt her in there.

She closes her eyes. Counts to five. That's stupid. It's illogical. It's not her own voice. She needs Adaine here, or else... well.

She responds, her mask still firmly in place. A promise was made. To herself. Restrictions were put in place. She refuses to acknowledge it for what it is, but a feeling still lingers.]

There's a big difference between encoding magic and enchanting or artificing. That wasn't exactly my area of expertise, that would be the little incel freak.

Me too. But you're the only other person who understands the magic we use, so I would rather have you around than not. I know how to do some encoding, but I've never done anything with moving people into different spaces.

I just need some references. I can scan an enchantment.
